CCS Library: CCS Research Repository &amp; Publications: PLUME eZine

Introduction

PLUME is an annual publication by the CCS Library that aims to disrupt linear research models by offering a uniquely interconnected approach to resources stemming from one single conceptual point. The issues feature CCS faculty research and interviews with trailblazing artists, activists, and storytellers. Curated lists of library resources are also included to encourage further exploration of the topics explored in each themed issue.

In "PLUME Issue 5: Play," the CCS Library highlights the myriad ways that makers are incorporating playfulness into their work and explores the conceptual influence of play on the process of creating art, objects, and installations.

In "PLUME Issue 4: Adopt/Resist," the CCS Library explores the interactions between traditional and new technologies in art and design and how makers are mindfully incorporating and/or resisting available technologies in their practice.
