Library Space

Alumni are welcome to visit the Library space. To access the library as an Alumni, please visit the CCS Campus Safety office in the Kresge Ford building to obtain a Library Limited Access badge. A valid ID is required.
Computers

Alumni may use the computers for a 3-hour period.

To access Library databases, including subscription resources, please ask at the front desk - a Librarian will provide access to these resources via a guest login. Please note that Adobe Creative Cloud is not available unless you have an existing personal subscription.

Printing and copying are not available.
Library Space & Print Materials

Guests outside of the CCS community are welcome to browse the Library's collection within the Library's space. To access the library as a Guest, please visit the CCS Campus Safety office in the Kresge Ford building to obtain a Library Limited Access badge. A valid ID is required. Guests do not have borrowing privileges, but are welcome to utilize print materials within the Library.
Computers

Guests may use the computers for a 3-hour period by checking in at the desk; a Librarian will provide access via a guest login. You must leave your ID at the desk during computer use.

The guest login allows access to all Library databases, including subscription resources. Please note that Adobe Creative Cloud is not available unless you have an existing personal subscription.
Scanning
The Library has 1 large flatbed scanner (attached to a Mac) and 2 smaller NT scanners for document scanning (attached to PCs). Printing and copying are not available.

Computers & Printing

The CCS Library has 6 Macintosh computers and 7 Windows PCs. The Library has 1 large flatbed scanner (attached to a Mac) and 2 smaller NT scanners for document scanning (attached to PCs). The printer also has scanning and copying capabilities.

Current CCS community members can print and make copies in black and white or color for free.

Printing and copying are not available for alumni or guests; see the appropriate tab for more information on computer use.

Recalled Books

If you receive an email notification that a book you have checked out has been recalled by another patron, it must be returned within 7 days. Fines will be $1/day for books not returned within that time frame.
